Testing the Feasibility of Code, by Coding It

Windows 7 Beta: Does it Matter Anymore?

long ago, i was in microsoft's private beta program for windows: codename longhorn, which as you know later became windows vista. i submitted some bugs with varying degrees of response from microsoft - including a new video driver, within three days. i ke

Catch-Up Post

intro as is the case when meandering through the course of life, many small things happen to me, most of which are too small to warrant their own blog post. i'm too lazy to keep my twitter up to date, but i'll try to catch you up on recent events... chris

Secondary Blog Created

you can safely ignore this post, its only purpose in life is to provide google a pointer to a new blog i started for no reason whatsoever. i don't plan to put anything serious there, you don't have to click the link, and you certainly shouldn't look there

New Apartment: Initial Thoughts

intro time for another monster post. grab a drink, this is a long one. i've lived on my own before -- in the dorms and barracks in the air force. i pretty much ate out or went to the chow hall. sometimes if i was particularly motivated, i'd fire up the ge

Cars on Ice

about a month ago, i bought four studded snow tires for the mustang and put four 60lb sandbags in the trunk. i figured that's about as much as i can compensate for the rear-wheel drive this winter. since then, there have been a few days when the roads wer
